Each tournament is clearly listed with its format, starting chip stack, blind structure and approximate duration on the tournament schedule.

How does the tournament buy-in and chip stack system work?

Every event specifies a buy-in expressed in tournament chips or points. Once registered, you receive a starting stack of tournament chips for that event. Those chips are used purely to track progress and determine positions and chip leaders within the tournament. Leaderboards, trophies and recognition are all based on chip stacks and finishing positions, not on any cash outcomes.

Can I visit solely for dinner or drinks without playing poker?
